Christina’s House needs constant support of individuals and groups. The majority of our funds will be spent on operations. In February of 2014, we were able to purchase our first home through the generous support of our community. Today we continue to flourish because of individuals and support groups like you. Thank you!

Our Success Stories
Shirley's Success Story
Prior to coming to Christina's House Shirley was living in a doubled up situation with her two children and was faced with many obstacles. Shirley had no job, no car, and no savings. Within 3 months of arriving at Christina's House Shirley had a secure job and was able to create a savings account. She leased a car and began to pay down her debt. Within 9 months Shirley raised her credit score enough to apply for a home with Habitat for Humanity. Shirley and her two children left Christina's House in December and were able to move into her new home in February.
April's Success Story
April’s journey at Christina's House was fought with many challenges. Her credit score was low and her debt was climbing. When we first met April she was living with her son in her car and had little hope for a future. Within a month we were able to reinstate her Nursing Assistant certificate and help her to create a resume. April quickly found a job and her life had begun to change. April and her son both accepted Christ and she is now debt free and armed with the skills she learned at Christina's House. April is on her way to creating a new path in life.
Jasmain's Success Story
Jasmain was living with her young son in her car prior to moving into Christina's House. Jasmain’s time at Christina's House was well spent. She always worked but did not make enough money to support her and her son. She decided she wanted a new career one that could support her. She applied as a Corrections Officer and graduated from the Academy, her determination and drive were evident. She was able to pay down over $10,000 of her debt and saved enough for her own apartment. She is now saving to purchase a home within the next two years.
