Our Mission and Vision

Christina’s House, Incorporated is a Christ-centered ministry with a mission to educate, embrace and encourage women and their children who are homeless or near homeless through the love of Jesus Christ.  Our vision is to provide the selected mothers and their children with life skills needed to become self-sufficient as they transition from homelessness to permanent and stable environments.

Christina’s House needs constant support of individuals, churches, and local businesses. We appreciate your careful consideration to give to our mission.  Each donation ensures that our program can continue to meet the needs of the families we serve daily.

Community Partners

Our partners cultivate new ideas and help us fill gaps we otherwise are not able to fill. They generously share their expertise and help us change lives; we could not do what we do without them!

Our Successes

Food Pantry

At Christina’s House, our mission extends far beyond our four walls. We are continually seeking meaningful ways to expand our reach and serve our community with compassion and dignity. This past year, we celebrated the 1-year anniversary of the Christina’s House Food Pantry, a vital resource created to support not only the families within our program but also families throughout the broader community. In 2025 alone, our Food Pantry served approximately 1,700 individuals, meeting both physical needs and offering hope during difficult seasons. With your support, we can continue standing in the gap for homeless women and children while remaining a trusted access point for anyone facing food insecurity. The Christina’s House Food Pantry is open on the last Friday of every month, or you may call us at 413-271-2105 for assistance.

Carolyn-Executive Director & Graduate Mom

"It started with Ice cream. I am amazed every single day by the power of God. In late 2016, I heard of Christina’s House through my church. I did an ice cream social with a women’s small group I was leading at the time. I knew then that I belonged in the ministry, but didn’t know in what capacity or why I felt that way. I started volunteering my time and cooking for the families. In 2019, I went through a very hard financial hardship that led me to become a program participant. Christina’s House saved my life from the inside out. I have three amazing daughters who are full of life, ambition, goals, and vision because of the partnership I received at Christina’s House. Now I am humbled, honored, and just filled with gratitude that I am able to proudly say I am the Executive Director of Christina’s House. To support the women and their children, lead a great group of people, and keep God at the center of it all, it’s an amazing feeling, and every day I feel like I hit the jackpot. I can say today that the struggles come and go, life is hard as a single mom, but the joy is there, and my spirit is full. I feel loved, I am loved, and just to know it all started with Ice cream"

Kayla -Program graduate

Matthew 7:7 is a verse in the Bible that states, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you

When Kayla and her two boys arrived at Christina’s House, she was a desperate single parent of the two boys, simply searching for safety and stability. Carrying the weight of trauma and independence, shared living and structured support felt overwhelming. Yet over time, Christina’s House became the place where everything began to change.

From a warm welcome on a cold winter day to consistent compassion, grace, and unwavering support, she and her children experienced what it truly meant to be seen, valued, and loved.

Through education, community, faith-centered guidance, and relentless encouragement, she was able to pursue nursing school while working nights, rebuild confidence, and set a new vision for her family’s future.

Kayla stated that Christina’s House met her where she was, without judgment, and surrounded her with people who modeled authentic, God-centered love.

Today, she is a registered nurse, a homeowner, and a present, thriving mother. The relationships formed remain strong, and the impact continues. Her story is a testament to how Christina’s House doesn’t just provide shelter, "it transforms lives for generations"
