Cheryl Clayton

House Mother - Madison Avenue Location

Cheryl Clayton, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Religion from Grand Canyon College in Phoenix, AZ.

Cheryl took a 4 year course in 1997 in Phoenix, AZ,  in VCL pertaining to Counseling and Discipleship of women in distress. 

While attending Calvary Community Church in Phoenix, Cheryl met and married her best friend, Jon Clayton in September 1999. They were both active, Cheryl on Worship Team and Jon teaching periodically under Pastor Manny.  In 2001 Jon knew God was calling him to be a Pastor and as they prayed and sought counsel they moved to Enfield, CT and arrived Oct. 8, 2002. In 2004, Jon was ordained by Pastor Joe Paskewich of Calvary Chapel, Uncasville, CT. They started a small church plant in Thompsonville, CT and moved it to WS, MA for nearly 7 years. 

Cheryl has been working for PSSP for over 19 years in Medical Billing, until recently when she retired to accept the position as House Mom at Madison. 

Cheryl is active at Cottage Hill Church and facilitates and teaches Women's Bible Study and is also teaching Cottage Kids Ministry 2nd through 6th grade.

Unfortunately, Cheryl's husband passed away in January 2018.

Cheryl has a passion to minister to hurting women, to help them recognize their value and learn life skills.
