Emil Farjo

Board Member

Emil Farjo is Business Assistance Coordinator at Common Capital, and before that, for the last ten years he was the coordinator of the microenterprise program for Ascentria Care Alliance. Emil is a Certified Credit Counselor and he worked as a financial coach for United Way’s Thrive Financial Success Center. He also has worked as independent instructor for the Center for Women & Enterprise and as a financial consultant for the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants. Over the years, he was able to assist and guide many individuals in the local community to start and grow their small businesses and provide financial counseling. In addition, Emil was a successful business owner for over 20 years in Baghdad, Iraq before immigrating to the United States with his wife Ban and their kids Rami and Noor. Emil and his wife, they both had faithful Christian parents that showed the way to raise their children under the love of Jesus Christ.
