Elaine VanWingerden

Board Member

I was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, and

attended the public schools. My parents were very active in church and

other service oriented ministries, like the Springfield Rescue Mission. My father was on the board of directors, and lead monthly worship

services, with my mother playing the piano along side. As kids, my

siblings and I learned the value of volunteering, especially the

organizations that served the LORD. When Christina's House was

established, I knew this was a place that I wanted to use my talents

and gifts to help make a difference.

I live in Somers, Ct. and I am blessed to have much of

much of my family living close by.
